Current disposition: 
Didn't enjoy newborn much. Babies are cute and helpless, but oh so boring. Medically uninteresting, not much you can do diagnositically (since they would be transferred to NICU if they were really sick beyond high bilirubin or hypoglycemia).

Also, my attending was a flamboyant young man who would gush after every routine mother-baby room visit, "Wasn't that FUN?" and my answer in my head was always "No." 

New things: 
I volunteered at church on Sunday in the 2 year-old room. Having 16 toddlers climb on you/sit on your lap/pick their noses/scream at each other/fight over plastic food (which they put in their mouths)/throw goldfish crackers everywhere was kind of a nightmare.

Had to hand write notes at my Patient Assessment Exam yesterday (fake patient scenarios in which you do the office visit on their symptoms and then write a clinic note) because my computer broke. You get 10 minutes per note. It...did not go well.

Tried a new barbecue place yesterday

Watched War Room last night

Waiting on a package that my mother sent over a week ago...that USPS lost..and is now re-routing to me within 7-10 days. It contained fresh fruit. Knowing my mother, she lovingly packaged every fruit in styrofoam. Thanks, USPS.
