And...go.

Well, the year has gotten off to a weird start. I forgot to submit my first assignment on time for a clinical and professional skills class (rather, I didn't know we had one due--the handout didn't say to dropbox it) and thus have a whopping 0/5 to start off my grade. So much for professionalism.

Other than that, school still feels like it's in pretend mode. I've learned how to use notability on my new iPad (I now have the Apple trifecta--iPad, iPhone, iMac--how lucky am I?!), which will be handy for notetaking and importing.

There were a bunch of birthdays and housewarmings to celebrate, and so I've had a packed weekend of purchasing basil plants and scarves and cards and food. Some new M1s recognized me at church today and stopped to say hello--it was the strangest feeling.

This evening I sat down to prepare all of my notes and figure out my calendar of due dates (don't want to ever lose silly points again). I'm also writing up my research paper (EEP!! Research Day is in less than 3 weeks!!!!) and will be meeting with my research mentor on Tuesday to discuss it. Being scrutinized by scientific leaders is terrifying to me, and I really hope that I can pull together something cohesive and relevant and interesting!
