Scenes from this week

The BFF sent me a package! It was crammed full of useful
goodies with adorable sticky note annotations. Not pictured,
but another dear friend also sent me an Amazon gift card! Such
wonderful, practical friends!

My first full day of driving in snow from pre-
plowed roads in the morning until post-plowed
slush and ice in the evening. I lost control once
and it wasn't that bad.

Poor chap. Outdoor parking is rough! Good thing
Corollie stays a comfortable 40 degrees inside
my building.

T is demonstrating proper ice scraping technique.
Or maybe not so proper...we mostly wanted to
hurry and get take out.

I am hanging up every single card that I
receive while here in Iowa! Thanks friends for
being wonderful.

G gave me the cutest and funniest tea infuser.
Everyone agrees! I found out that I shouldn't
cram his trousers full of tea leaf pearls...they
expand and makes cleaning kinda tricky.

It's hard to park within the lines when the lines
are covered by snow. I just thought this was
funny. And no one ever tells you how dirty
your car gets from driving in slush!
