Goodbye, California. For now.

After years of dreaming, months of toiling, and weeks of anticipation, I'm finally embarking on my first-ever significant move away from home! It. is. real. No more safety nets of BART rides home at the first twinge of homesickness, familiar faces, or even Asian culture. 

My apartment has been generously furnished already, my little car fueled up, my things packed up, my parents in tow. I even remembered to make a USB drive full of songs for the road today! It's basically a few hours of Sara Bareilles with some Justin Timberlake thrown in.  


I'm grateful that I was able to spend quality time with almost every one of my friends in the last month. Considering that they are scattered across the United States, it's a small miracle. I've been positively overwhelmed by the outpourings of love and support and late night chats. It has been a solid month of sweet reunions and bittersweet goodbyes.
