Think about these things

I've been tremendously guilty of being a downer when it comes to recounting my emergency department experiences without being aware of it. For anyone who's felt heavy and depressed after reading my posts, I sincerely apologize. It is my nature to gravitate toward the less appealing side of whatever it is I'm doing, although that tends to be draining in more ways than I know.

Let's be clear; the emergency department is not a place that happy people go to. It's not like a newborn infant ward, or even a dermatology clinic. There are issues that I felt important to recount from a perspective that I personally have never heard others share about. But, even so, I will do my best to be more positive both in the ED, and to share with you more uplifting stories!

Finally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is commendable, if there is any excellence, if there is anything worthy of praise, think about these things. What you have learned and received and heard and seen in me—practice these things, and the God of peace will be with you. -Philippians 4:8-9
Oh, look! Here's a photo of our surgery observation members.
It's not really related, but....eh.
