Corollie is no longer new, or at least, as new. In the last 5ish months that I've owned him, he's only been driven 1,800 miles. That's because I live in a very convenient location and most places of interest are within five miles of my house. I keep getting notices from Toyota that I am two months overdue for my 5,000-mile car tune up...which I don't see happening on my odometer until probably next summer. But anyways, in the process of driving friends around, they've taught me a lot about my own car! I can't believe I'm admitting this. Haha.
Here are some things I've learned:
At 0 weeks: I quite enjoy owning a car.
2 weeks: Must press remote twice in quick succession to unlock passenger doors. No longer need to press unlock from the inside manually.
3 weeks: Set up bluetooth handsfree calling system. I can talk on the phone in my car, or until that new proposal gets passed...
4 weeks: High beams are indicated by the blue neon light. Stop driving with high beams on.
Last week: Switch the center light to "automatic car door." The days of sitting in a dark car night after night, fumbling around with keys are over. I figured this one out on my own.
