I don't really make resolutions

A few girlfriends and I were talking about New Years resolutions, and it remains something that I don't make a habit of doing. But, for posterity, I'll list some things that I strive to do on a regular basis regardless of what day of the year it happens to be:
  1. Tell the people I love that I love them, frequently 
  2. Say "thank you" often and mean it 
  3. Pray. All the time. For all things.
  4. Be unafraid to take on complicated patients and tough situations
  5. Extend mercy to those I have trouble getting along with 
  6. Take care of myself. Take care of myself. Take care of myself. (sigh)
  7. Make intentional coffee dates
  8. Put down my phone. Rely less on social media. Keep some moments to myself.
  9. Speak encouragement to my friends and classmates. Build up others more.    
  10. Journal more. Journal period.
  11. Trust the process. 
  12. Give good gifts
  13. Attend all weddings that I'm invited to (probably the only real change from 2015)  
  14. Eat at least one meal sitting down daily
  15. Be present in the now and unafraid to sink down roots
