Where I can tell you that I scored 100% on my Histology Microscope Final exam and not be judged for it.
Nine students out of 153 achieved it, so I'd say it wasn't the easiest thing I'd ever done...but I happen to think human tissue slides are beautiful. If med school were entirely comprised of practical exams, I'd be golden. I guess I function better under timed pressure, where self-doubt has no time to creep in. It's always the self-doubt that gets me.
Neuroscience final tomorrow.
Human Organs Systems final on Friday.
There's over 100 hours of lecture material for each exam.
I think I had a blackout/absent/partial complex seizure the other night (my roommate said the lights did NOT go out for several seconds) from being so stressed. I've also broken out in hives several times, and currently have a few inflamed metacarpal joints.
My body is trying to self-destruct to escape the pain of studying 18 hours a day for the last 20 days.
Deep breath.
Here we go.
