I mentioned to one of my small group facilitators that I was interested in radiology, and she connected me with the director of the radiology residency program here. We set up a meeting to talk about radiology, and I'm invited to a summer picnic with fellows and residents. My good friend T wanted in on the action and I connected him as well. I'm convinced that in med school who you know is just as important as what you know.
T is one of the most charming people I've ever met, and this is going to be fun.
Radiologists can be personable too! I think....

I think life in general is more about who you know more than what you know.
How exciting for you to make connections! :)
I must say I never pictured you in radiology. Something about sitting all the time and some (most?) of it in the dark doesn't seem like you. :P
