Then I thought about it some more, and then I said yes. My colead S from Highland is interviewing on the same day, UC is a pretty good (public!) school, and the interview is in MMI format instead of the traditional one-on-one (oooh exciting)! Then I thought some more, and then I said no again. A plane ticket is $565! I have to miss two days of work! I have to fill out a tertiary application?! Heck no no no.
And after a series of events ($260 plane ticket!) and more thinking, I took the plunge. So here I am. These have been some of the most indecisive days of my life.
It's strange to think that just last night I was having a nice romantic dinner with the boyfriend in the city. As usual, I ordered mussels and Danny filled up on bread with balsamic vinegar and olive oil. Always an enjoyable experience at Cafe de la Presse!
Two planes later, I'm in Ohio for the third time on my interviews trail. Why can't California show me this kind of love?

| Six days of different weather. Is that HAIL on the forecast for tomorrow..? |
The hotel that I'm staying at is on the medical campus. In fact, it's where relatives of patients can stay while their family members are undergoing procedures, or in my case, where students stay during their interviews. In all honesty, this place is creepy. Down the hallway from my room is a Sleep Disorder Center, and when I was trying to find a vending machine for water, I stumbled upon a dirty utility room just like the ones we have at Highland. I guess this place is first and foremost a hospital and not a hotel.
After interview season wraps up and final decisions are made in May or June, I'll write a post about interview content, impressions, etc.--stay tuned!
