On Sunday, I woke up to a blanket of white fluffy snow. I've seen snow a couple of times in my life, but it was still awesome to experience. But I'm sure the novelty wears off somewhere between shoveling driveways and salting sludgy roads.

Grandpa Clifford and Grandma Marcie left for Florida on this day in their van! It's a road trip they make every year for the winter months when it's not growing season. They are cast characters and tour guides at Disney World, so if anyone ever wants free tickets, hotel discounts, or cruise discounts, they get loads of them every year. Didn't I tell you they are awesome?

Later that night, I was back in relatively mild San Francisco. I narrowly missed the Midwest blizzard and went to bed in time for work the next morning. I was so, so sad to leave Iowa and my host family.
What a difference one day makes.
