This is just to say
- It feels nice to be employed. Only, I'm not. I've only done some freelance (academic/research) paper editing, and that is great fun!--getting paid to point out grammar mistakes, a service I gladly perform for free.
- Since Halloween, I've eaten my brother's candy at the rate of one piece per hour. This has proportionally increased my teeth brushing frequency at the rate of once per four pieces.
- One of my classmates limped into our Medical Microbiology exam today five minutes late. He had been hit by a car on the way to school. I hope he sought medical attention after he took the exam (what a trooper).
- I had a dream that Joy the Baker forced me to pet her giant flying monkey spider. I hyperventilated upon waking.
- It feels strange to not have major IV events as landmarks in the year. Like Fall Conference, which is happening right now. I once contemplated joining SFSU IV, but it would be weird if I showed up to joint events like Chapter Camp. Instead, I joined my church's young adult fellowship.
- This chilly weather is making people discover the comfort of hot tea, scarves, and electric blankets, but those are things that I enjoy year-round because I'm from Fogtown, USA.
me: "my blog has become a way, maybe the primary way, for people to still know me."
d: "but then, how do you know other people?"
me: exactly."
